Saw a photo of the zephyr dash and well it's basically the same as the Mustangs. I wonder how much a nav system would cost from Lincoln and if it would fit? Might be an inexpensive way to get a stock looking nav system.

Any thoughts?

Physically the unit will fit in the dash, however it requires antenna installation (probably not difficult) and wirnig modiciation (requires speed input-would have to have circuits added). Overall kind of a pain in the butt. Also probably not a wallet friendly mod.

I priced this out wiht a local dealer, but using the freestyle's system and the unit itself I believe came in around $2300 plus all the bits needed. plus, i've looked into it more and apparently it won't even work properly so overall, it's not worth it.

trust me, i wanted to make it work SO badly

Yea, I wish the nav system could work at a more reasonable price.

<Off topic> I love the onboard computer but sad to say I don't think I have the know how to do that with how much computers have changed since I last worked on them. If I could go someplace and have one built and installed for a reasonable price I would definitely do it.

Maybe someday they will have a computer kit ready for install.

You can get all the help you will need here www.mp3car.com. They also do make a kit and there are places that will install it.
