Can you post a pic of where you have yours mounted?

 

one or tw xm's I have are portable as my car came with Siriue I just lay my XM across the cup holders blocking both holes fits pretty well face up as I never leave it in the car anyways!sorry its pouring right now other wise I'd run outside & take a picture.

 

I have a Delphi Roady that i attached with the supplied swivel mount. not my photos (actually they are martimus's), but I shamelessly copied his install hope this helps.
