Anybody have blurry vision thru the rear window after tinting...I do, my tinter offered to remove and refund my money, but I have decided to live with it...he said it is a weird thing that happens once in a while, he says it has somthing to do with the rear window defogger and the way the light hits the strips thru the tint.
Anybody have a clue or more info on this???
Thanks, Dave

I have the same kind of thing, but mine existed before the tint. I thought maybe it was some sort of film left over from the factory as it actually improved after I had the tint installed. It is worse towards the bottom, or more accurately, below the lowest window defroster strip. Normal view through the middle of the back window is fine.

I have a hard time seeing through mine too, moreso at night, but I think it's just me.

Mine was a little blurry the day I got it installed, but by the next day it was and still is clear.

I've noticed that in some cars, the curvature of the glass can create like a "prescription" that can distort the imag viewed through it. My '02 had this near the edges in the front, while my cousin's car did not. She said it was glaringly obvious to her, too. Her car was nearly identical to mine. Maybe it is simply a lack of consistency in the manufacture of the glass?

I've got a little bit too, but since I'm always going faster, I'm not concerned about the people behind me.
I'm sure I'll still be able to see red and blue lights though :cop:
How long have you had your tint for Dave? If recent, there might be a little moisture still underneath there.
But months later, mine's still a little blurry and it doesn't bother me.

Have the tint replaced Dave. You shouldn't have any distortion. Mine is perfectly clear before and after tinting.
