Someone on here bought one and liked it, but we didn't get much in terms of details or pics. Do a search and you'll find his thread in this section.

I'm thinking you need a dealer to program something for you to make it work correctly. It's been a while, but I know there's been a thread on it here somewhere.

This is not a factory unit, so no programming is needed.

Programming is required only if you are buying the OEM nav.

It says OEM for 05-09 Mustangs, but it also say's it will not fit a premium sound system. Is a Shaker 500 premium sound? I thought all Mustang GT's came with at least the Shaker 500.

I looked at the description and thought it was OEM, but it's definitely not the stock nav unit for the Mustang. https://themustangsource.com/f692/20...e-f150-495145/ There's a pic in there showing what it should look like. Premium sound system is referring to the Shaker 1000. It has no way to turn the Shaker on/off.

I couldn't find where they claim it is OEM. It is definitely NOT OEM, though.

I am confused by their statement that cars with nav already having a different wiring harness. I had the Shaker 500 and switched to the OEM nav and it was plug and play.

It says "OEM look" and "OEM fitment". I just hadn't read it very carefully. I don't understand why it wouldn't fit a car that already has nav either. I should have the same plugs or none of them would work together.

I installed that unit a few months back. Just be aware that you may have to re-pin the adapter that comes with it and may need to provide power to illuminate it. I did. Then again, I only had the stock radio installed, so the adapter may come set up for the Shaker. You can use the link to the F150 forum in the above mentioned thread to get the pinouts if it needs to be re-pinned.
