i think it's audiophile who makes the speakers, and delphi who makes the head unit.

right?

i'm pretty sure the exact info is on the timeline if you want to be sure.

That is SUPPOSED to be the deal. But I contacted Delphi about the AUX input and the responded they did NOT make the stereos for the Mustang.

yeah. I didnt think audiophile was a company, i thought an "audiophile" was a person who got off on audio. Like the stereo in the new Lexus RX, which is made by some apparently famous audiophile (Mark Levenson). In the commercial they refer to it as "an audiophile speaker system".

Delphi makes the HEAD UNIT for model starting with model year 2005.

Visteon made the previous ones, I would not trust some operator at Delphi most likly you talked to a REP who has no clue about the products. Delphi is not really a consumer electronics company. There only consumer product is there XM equipment.

Im talking about the Speakers, not the head unit. Who makes those? Ford used to use JBL in their "premium audio" systems.

Ford has not released any information on who makes the speakers. Audiophile is not the name of a car audio company.
