I have the aluminum colored guage faces, and love them!

 

Dangit! Someone kill a corvette, rip out it's HUD, and frankenstein it to the dash. Take pictures.

 

whats wrong with the aftremarket HUDs liek DEFI makes or one from any GM car like a Grand Prix. Look at the DEFI units for HUD

 

I got the gauge faces directly from US Speedo. I also have MyColor. About the gauge lighting, when you turn on the ignition, the numbers are lighted in a light grey. When your lights are on of course whatever one of the MyColors you have set up will show. Sometimes in full sunlight (I have a 'vert) the numbers are a little faint, so I just turn on the parking lights and my MyColor blue darkens them right up. I've been happy with the look of the gauges for almost a year now. Here are some pics.

I put full white face guages from Steeda on my 06 and they SUCK BIG TIME! Can't see during the day and they have a milky look at night, not clear at all. During the day you can"t see the warning lights. It's like looking through skim milk. Should be against the law. The biggest mistake ever.

Check out these stainless steel faces from US Speedo. I LOVE 'em. I had white face gauges and I like these much better.
