White Faced Gauges

Does anyone have a picture of what the white faced gauges look like in tthe instrument panel? The stock overlay is black with white numbers and the numbers are backlit during the day - white. What is it going to look like if I put white faced gauge overlays on? Those have black numbers, right? So is it still going to be backlit during the day? And will it have an effect on the "mycolor" feature? Also, where can I get them?

Good question. I don't know, and I haven't been able to find any pics about that either. Hopefully someone here who has them will post.

those are the 140mph for the GT, probably not calibrated properly for the V6. i've come across a bunch made for the 99-04 Mustangs but there's very little out there for the '05 and newer.

yeah but i think you can get them directly from them for a V6, i have seen people take saleen S281SC guages (they read up to 200mph) and have had them calibrated for a normal GT

that one looks real nice! I wonder what color the backlight would be during the day, since the overlay colors are reversed (black numbers)

Oh man, those guages look great! I'm not a fan of the retro styled OEM gauges.. I find them hard to read at a glance. This looks great.. now does anyone have it installed? I'd like to see what the mycolor feature looks like through these guages... where does the light shine through? Are the black numbers actually transparent?

these are all yellow guages but i believe it is the same idea if you changed your mycolor to yello and this is how it would show

i think you can do it with a tuner but when it comes to going from a 140mph guage to a 200mph guage i think it involes a bit more detail

How does one do it for the 180 and 200 mph ones?

I dont think the guages change colour just the numbers. ie if you changed the mycolour to yellow, in the daytime it would be very difficult to read. (yellow on yellow) I think the numbers would be the same as normal

If that's what happens with the white-face gages, that would suck. During the day it'd be cool, yeah, but at night you'd have to dim the console down to almost off.

I am interesteed in this as well, but I am concerned about how the numbers will show up, since they are back lit to be white in the day.

Cheers

Same concerns here. Someone buy the **** thing and take a pic!

Ok, ok... if no one buys it, it's in my queue to buy, right after the CAI/tune. Probably in a month or two.

I hate my white faced gauges. With the white backlighting it is next to impossible to see the numbers in the daylight. Worst mod I have made to date.
