Hey guys - I hate to ask, but can you contact your supplier and kindly ask them to stop using our images to advertise their copy of our fuel door? I know you probably are not aware of this, so no hard feelings. I see that it is now shown on your website as well though, and so I feel we need to ask you to do something since this obviously is not right. We'd be happy to have you as a dealer if you like, and then you could have free use of our current photos on your website. As the first to manufacture the Tru-Billet Fuel door for the 05+ Mustang, we welcome knock-offs as the sincerest form of flattery, but not using our photography to advertise it.

The picture in question is this one:

http://northamericantuning.com/musta..._fuel_door.htm

It's really a photo-crop of the attached image - which the original is available on our site here:

http://www.silverhorseracing.com/web...ategory_id=255

We've updated a bunch of the images, but #2237 was from our old website that we scrapped back in August when we opened our new online store.

Thanks. Oh, and we'll have our billet ***** soon enough - we just have a couple of other fires to put out first with other new releases that we need to finish up. Definitely before spring time, at least I hope too!!

Marcello:

My apology. Indeed, I had no idea that this was happening and I will address it with the supplier. I will remove the photo asap.

I will contact you in a separate email to discuss being a dealer.

In the mean time, I appreciate your feedback.

Regards.

Nick, no harm - no foul. Margate, huh? I used to have to drive down there a bunch to see clients in my previous life. You can email me directly, or call us at 321-722-2813 and we can talk about it.

Thanks.

Any update as to when the A/C ***** for the 07 will be available? Are overlays looking to be available since these ***** cannot be removed?

No updates at the moment, figured I'd tell you the truth rather than just ignore the bump. It got bumped back in the production pile due to a couple of other big "projects" that came up, but I haven't forgotten about them, just been too busy to finish them yet.

BTW - they can be removed - it's just not as easy as removing them on the older cars. An "overlay" piece would really need to be a stamped part, and would be really "flimsy" unless we can get the thickness up, which then kind of defeats the purpose of stamping it to begin with... ye old catch-22....

Not yet. Been watching all the aftermarket mfg's. Thinking I'm going to mask them off, and paint the sucker's for now. If I screw up, oh well, all the more reason for being first on whoever's list. At least it will be a different look than the plain plastic now.

Too many fires, not enough cooks...

I have the projects in this order:

Deluxe Door Handles
Window Switch Plates (Full replacements)
07+ A/C ***** (replacements if possible)

#1 is almost done prototyping, #2 is going to be quite a bit quicker, and so that leaves #3 - I'd have it done tomorrow if I could, but we just don't have the manpower to throw at everything we want to do, so it comes down to one project at a time, done right.

Fritz,

Not yet - we just have the pieces apart and at the design / layout stage right now. Installation will be pretty easy, as we try to make it with most of our pieces. I think what kept "the other guys" from doing this was how to hold the switches after-the-fact since they "pop" into the existing pieces. That, and the fact that you're talking about a bit of aluminum when compared to a thin cover that you can knock out of sheet.

That's why the bean counters don't get near our development - they would just water it all down, and I won't stand for it
