Looking to do my next costly mod and clueless where to start. Checked a couple of sites (i.e Crutchfields) and threads on here so far above my head that only help to confuse, bewilder and leaves me asking more questions .... actually not knowing what questions to ask.

Anyone recommend a good A/V system to replace my Shaker 500. Looking for a quality unit with Sirrus, Nav, backup cam AND BlueTooth. Does anyhting like this exist?

Any help/recommendations would be appreciated

Do a search. There is a thread I started on my replacement. I went Kenwood with NAV, backup cam, etc. There is also a thread on the Pioneer system, I think there is also a thread on the Infinity systems. Plus a thread on car computers.

So to answer your question, yes, there are systems out there like that.

I wish I could have afforded that DDX 7015. NICE!!! It can be had for under 900 bucks on the net. (less navigation which is an extra $900 or so) I settled for the JVC KD-AVX1 (on $450) it has what you are looking for too except for the NAV & bluetooth. Im not sure of a system that has bluetooth and DVD.

I got the DDX7015 and the KVN4100 both off of fleabay for about $1200 total. The head unit was used, but came with a blank warranty registration card ( was just used in a show car ) and the navigation unit was new in an unopened box.

Yea, it's nice. Did a few other searches; there are several good systems I found interesting. Guess I'm going to have to make some inquiries about the Blutooth tech. Wouldn't think it should be a big deal. Oh well, I'm looking for this as a X-mas present (read: gather the $$s) and have a couple of months to research.
