Ultimate dead pedal install
Hi all, I received my Ultimate dead pedal this week and I'm trying to install it.
However, there seems to be a problem... All I can find underneat the dead pedal is soft foam, so the screws won't stay put, and the only thing holding the dead pedal is the carpet.
Bad news is sometimes good news, this means I'll probably be able to shape a piece of wood to correct tyhe angle of the dead pedal and make it more solid.
How did you install yours ???
Also, for those of you who ordered pedals with the little rubber inserts, you may use soap dish instead of vaseline to insert them. Less messy, easier to wash and the soap will evaporate and "glue" the rubber inserts... It's the trick we use to slip slip grips onto handlebars

I finally used drywall plastic plugs and it seems to hold good now. The rubber inserts also seem to fall off pretty easily, Me thinks it will be a good idea to glue them instead... How are they holding up on the clutch pedal ?
