I bought a set of Steeda Billet padal covers and there were no instructions. They came with nuts and bolts. Are they supposed to bolt to the rubber or the actual pedal. If its the pedal, then holes would have to be drilled. I don't like that idea. Even if they go on the rubber, you would still have to drill holes. :bang:

Has anyone done this?

I have these, though mine came with screws though. Yes I did have to drill holes, the gas pedal is easy since its plastic. You have to remove the rubber covers on the clutch and brake. The actual pedals are metal, so make sure you use a drill bit that is designed to drill through metal and not wood. Mine came with instructions though, surprised they forgot to include them, you may want to contact them and see if they can email you a copy of them.

Thanks for the info, I ordered them from mustang tunning which I haven't had very good luck with! Do you have a picture of yours installed? I checked the link to your site but didn't see one.

Yeah, I have been busy on the weekends lately, or it has been raining, hoping to get out and take some pictures of my upgrades since I last updated the site and post pictures.

Let me know how you like them because I'm not crazy about drilling holes in the padals. They dont look like I thought. If you have a picure installed, that would be great. :worship:

Do those circles have raised ridges for grip, i have the dead pedal and am trying to decide on the upr's or the steeda. Also, can you give a review of these pedal covers including installation and traction on your shoes.

Thanks, Dave

Go down to either Home Depot or Lowe's (or what ever's in your area) and get an 1/8" titanium drill bit. It will make drilling much easier and faster. Use a variable speed drill and start off slow so the bit will dig in and not wander around. Once the hole is deep enough, increase the speed and pressure.

Just got the Steeda pedal covers, and tried to install them tonight. what is with the fit of these things?? Looking at the pic in this thread, it looks like this person only picked up two of the 4 fasteners on each pedal, and I can see why. The Steeda hole pattern leaves no meat on the pedal in the present Steeda fastener locations. Has anybody done this install and used all 4 holes for fastening to the pedal. I think Steeda should have provided a tool or template for drilling these holes. :bang:

Can anyone give any helpful advice to installing this mod???

Not sure about the Steedas .....

I have the UPRs for the auto and love 'em - took me about 15 minutes total to install - had just bought a new drill so it really wasn't that hard....
