You will need to go to the interior mods section for 2010-2014 cars for more info on retrofitting these clusters into 2010-2012 cars. There are 2 threads there that will give you the info you need.

Cheers

I am eagerly awaiting news as well. I sent Matt a 2005 GT 6 guage cluster to work on as well as some funding for this.

Unfortunately, the cluster I sent Matt got fried. Hoping he can get it going again.

Update:

Mappings are completed. The 05 cluster that was being tested on died, though. Anyone have a cluster they are willing to have testing done on?

There should be a conversion box built by the end of the month for beta testing.

Does the cluster have to be fully functioning for testing?

I did however start working on figuring out how to packaging the whole thing up.

The platform I am using now is 38 x 26 mm and has a few external boards. So the challenge is figuring out how to shrink everything down to a smaller PCB that can be packaged, and hidden easily.

More to come
Still coming along. Slow progress due to the 05 cluster having quit.

I would think so. PM zeroaviation, though. Needs to be a 6 guage cluster. Don't know if it needs to be V8 or not.

I will know for sure tomorrow.

Do you have one for sale? or lending?

Also, anyone on here got PCB design experience?

Cheers,
-Matt

Got some updates. Here is a short list of what need to be converted. The ones in bold I have already figured out how to do it.

1. Need to convert Fuel Gauge analog signal
2. Need to convert ECT CAN signal
3. Need to convert ODO HSCAN signal
4. AFR signal will have to be built for functioning gauge on the 2013
5. ACT signal will have to be built for functioning gauge on the 2013
6. Oil temp signal will have to be built from a inferred value or actual analog input for the 2013
7. Transmission temp signal will have to be built from a inferred value or actual analog input for the 2013
8. Oil pressure can be extended from SJB to 2013 IPC
9. ABS (Parking brake, oil level, EBD) will have to be simulated via HSCAN on the 2013 cluster.
10. Airbag warning – Convert analog signal into HSCAN signal
11. Safety belt signal will have to be converted Analog to digital
12. Cruise indicator will have to be converted Digital to Digital HSCAN
13. Traction control indicator signal will have to be converted Digital to Digital HSCAN

More to come hopefully next weekend.

Cheers,
-Matt

Got a new harness built today, and did a little more testing. As a by product of working on another project, I am carrying over the octocoupler for high to low signal conversion.

Spent some time on figuring out how to package all the components.. Software side is easy, its the hardware thats going to be difficult.

More to come.
