Does anyone know, or has measured, the mounting depth that is available for the Double DIN radio? The DIN specification does not specify any depth standard, so if can be different for every car. I have yet to be able to find anything about the depth available in the 05+ Mustangs.
Some of the head units I have looked at are pretty deep, so I was just wondering.

I've had several different units in my car and there's a lot of room behind the dash for them. On one of them I had both a satellite and HD radio receiver behind the dash connected to the head unit and there was plenty of room ...
