The Laptop is in...
Took advantage of the sunshine and pulled Barricade free of the crowded garage.
Anyway....
Since no one makes a laptop bracket for the S197 05-09 Mustang body style I
fabricated up my own bracket. Looks simple (and it is) but this dang thing took me forever to
get done. Its 1/8" Steel. It mounts to the existing seat bracket bolts.
I still have to take it to get powdercoated and run the wiring for the charging base & light
but its all downhill now.
Bolted the base attachment on:
Base clears the shifter:
from uptop:
Dropping the Toughbook on there!!
The sun was glaring like crazy so I did what I could so the snaps would come out half way decent. Please forgive my cell phone pix....:
Anyway.......Its KILLER!!! Before you ask...Yes there is plenty of room to shift.
Since someone will ask "why"...here is your answer - BECAUSE.
Its because the real one had one and this is a replica.
When he picks up Frenzy at the Airport, Frenzy uses it to download and
look at the data he just stole from Air Force one.
Plus internet on the go....
The toughbooks also have a drive bay on the side of them:
Soooooo I dropped in one of these:
Can I get a helz yeah???

I wish i knew someone who could sew me up a lifesized plush one.....
That would be awesome. I could cut allot of scrap aluminum and start fabbing one up but that guy has WAY to many sharp points to come close to my leather.
I do have a little one I set on the dashboard sometimes though...

I cant tell you that cause....YOUR A STRANGER!!
I have those credentials, no I dont & yes it is.
It is a replica of a Movie car.
It is not a trailer queen and it drives everywhere it goes.
A guy on one Mustang forum saw me driving down the highway & he
he took this picture and posted it up (going down IH-35 from
attending a C&C in Dallas).
I thought it was a pretty cool shot. I had some fun with DPS right after this.
Its all good.
Its just a movie prop that was made to put smiles on kids faces....
little did I realize that most of those kids would range upwards to 50 yrs in age.

I've seen this car in person twice and it kicks ***!
It just keeps getting better and wherever it is it draws crowds. My kids loved it too.
And my absolutely favorite part...
Mad SkillZ!
