Radio Controlled Ipod Interface
I currently have the FRDAUX04 PIE unit installed, because it lets me plug my ipod and Sirius Starmate player into it and lets me listen via the aux button. I know this unit allows you to control your ipod, but would it allow me to control my sirius starmate also?

BrandMotion iPod Adapter is installed
I've installed the BrandMotion iPod adapter into my Mustang GT vert. Overall it works very well but I can't quickly scroll through a list of song or artists like I can on the iPod. It takes about a second for the screen to update with the new name while the iPod is instantaneous.
Like any new device, there is a learning curve with the new controls. Since the iPod is using the controls from the radio, the learning curve is a bit higher.
One thing I have determined is establishing playlists on the iPod will greatly benefit finding and playing preferred songs. If a 40GB or larger iPod is attached with all of the songs lumped into a single blob, it will take a long, long time to find the song as the list is sorted alphabetically.
With careful and deliberate planning, making multiple playlists will make finding songs much easier.
Overall, I like the BrandMotion ipod adapter and I am glad I installed it. It will take a little time and forethought to set up my ipod to maximize my enjoyment while cruising in the Mustang.
