KC,
Can you verify this works with the new iPod? (iPod Classic, 80 & 160 GB). I have been following this on the iPod forums, and many people are having some issues, one is the compatibility of working with older accessories.
Thanks
Jeff

You are on the edge of the compatibility envelope with your vehicle / radio. Ford introduced the satellite capable radio in late 2005-early 2006.
The best thing to do is to check your radio part number. The process is easy, and can be performed without removing your radio.
Radio part number
Turn ignition key "ON".
Press the AM/FM button on the radio.
Simultaneously press and hold the 3 and 6 preset buttons on your radio for 1-2 seconds (speaker test).
Press the preset 6 button within 5 seconds (Radio Config)
Press the tune up button (^)
Record the radio part number; (you will need to write the part number down).
Turn the radio "OFF" and then "ON" again by pushing the volume **** twice. (Ignition "OFF" is NOT the same).
Reference the start of this thread for compatible radio numbers. If you have questions, just post a reply.

How soon will this group order be ready to roll out? I'm ready to purchase now, but would like to know how long of a wait is so I can determine if I should just order it directly. I'll be installing gauges soon in preparation for a supercharger, and would like to do it all in one sitting.

We've tested the adapter with each generation of iPod. We work with the new iPods, including the iPhone & Touch.

KC,
Silly question here, but I'm upgrading to an AVIC-D3 with an Ipod interface. Is it possible to just buy ONLY the iPOD holder as seen in the third and fourth pictures in your original post?
