I bought my Dad some OEM Black GT cloth seats to replace his V6's light gray seats for his birthday. They look awesome and will be a sweet addition to the car. Does anyone know about the seat assembly and how to remove the old seats??? How do you get the headrest off??? They arrived yesterday and I want to get them on ASAP
Your help and opinions are appreciated as always

Here's the Dark charcoal GT seats and the V6 light gray interior. I think the mix of the gray and black is going to look sweet Aren't the GT seats more bolstered then the V6 seats???

Joel, I just reread your post, If all your doing is taking the seats out, and putting the others in, then it's not going to take as long as putting the covers on.It should'nt take you about an hour or so! good luck. First disconect your battory,so you don't cause the air bags to go off by accident. The seats have four screws, you will have to remove, then under the seats are wire connectors, be carefull when disconecting them? There's two on eachside. then the seats will come out. As for the headrest, If you look very close you will see where the headrests bars are there is on one of the sides a little hole, use a paper clip and push in as you pull up on the headrest and the headrest will come off. You don't have to use the paper clip to put it back on . they will just push in. The driverside seat is electric so you will have to connect the battory, to move seat back and forth to get to the screws. then make shure to disconnect it while taking the wireconnectors off. also just remember that while the battory is disconected you windows won't automaticly go down when openning the doors. So if your going to do the installation in a garage, just roll the windows down first. Joel, if you have any questions at all, just ask? Good luck on your install! James

like James said its not that hard. time consuming, buy the time you get to the second seat its a breeze, the rear seats are easy!
to get the headrests of there are two plastic clips you have to pop off and then you are able to push in the spring then the headrests come right off heres a picture highlighting the clips:
