Yep.

Installed it last year after getting my 2006 GT in March. It has a whopping 3800 miles on it and Yesterday when detailing the inside in the garage I found a hole on the left side of the boot. Seems that the vinyl boot is rubbing on the left side of the shifter ring in 1st and 2nd. Just ordered a leather boot from Redline , I wonder if I have to grind off some of the block on the shifter to get a little more clearance.

Darn it!

 

I have had my Pro 5.0 shifter for over a year and plenty of miles with no hole in the boot, nothing even comes close to rubbing.

bump... I think I just read about this somewhere else .. I'd like more info before choosing to go with pro 5.0
