Add some nice leather to that interior !! we have leather shift boots for the upgraded interior package silver trim rings. the install is tedious but doable for the real diy`r.....and the leather will exceed the vinyl oem boot longevity by eons check out the best fitting leather armrest covers out there

 

I need to take the plunge and try the swap. Are you going to document the process??

 

i`ll try to get the pics together this week and post them on the site. i thought it was a sure fix( the way i did it) but i had a couple pins that hold the rings together break back loose. then i figured out another way that i think worked ok, but the little plastic pins would only be good for a one time replacement, which should be good for a few years or more then the trim would have to be replaced. its still a gamble of sorts as that ring was not meant to have the boot replaced. but...the one i did worked

the shift boots we make come to you with the rubber o ring already glued into the top of the boot and ready glue onto your trim ring.
