New radio installed... FH-P8000BT

I took a couple hours "off" yesterday and installed my new radio. It's the Pioneer FH-P8000BT. I wanted it mostly for the iPod interface, but it has bluetooth and all kinds of goodies. It also matches the blue that I use for my dash lights. Let me tell you. This this sounds amazing. I was shocked. I didn't figure just upgrading the head unit would make so much of a difference in sound. The iPod interface works very well. Now I can stick my iPod in my glovebox and control it all from the receiver. It looks fantastic and matches the blue MyColor so well. Given everything going on, I didn't have time for a write-up, sorry guys. There were a few modifications necessary to make it work properly with the Shaker 500 (as with every aftermarket radio) but it was very simple. All you need to do is wire in a 5V voltage regulator to the remote turn on so that the subs don't pop when you turn the unit on, and connect a rca female to 2 male y adapter. Otherwise everything is just as the instructions suggest. Anyway, here's a pic.

And here's a link to the stereo.

And here's just the radio (this image courtesy of Crutchfield.com)

It has USB input for iPod and Aux input for other things, like Satellite radio. It also has IP Bus, so you can buy the optional tuner and connect that way, to control the sat radio through the receiver.

Thanks everyone. As far as the blue LED's, I don't really have the patience to tackle that. And I quite like the contrast. If it were all blue, it might be a bit much. That's why I had my MyColor set to blue in the first place, to break up the green.

Ok so I just photoshopped it, and it does look good with all the lights blue. But that said, I still don't have the patience to do it.

The first one is the map lights. The last 2 are just the florescent lights in the garage. Again, the brightness and clarity comes from my post-processing.

Here's the photoshop

Looks great Steve!

Just one question..
I used a RCA Y-Adapter on my Alpine install and hooked it up to the WHT RCA cable of the Crutchfield adapter, then the 2 males off the Y into the back of the Alpine subwoofer out.

Problem is I no longer get low frequency bass out from the door subs anymore (sounds like a hi-pass filter).

Which male RCA did you connect the Y to?

my wiring..
