Hello fellow Mustang-fanatics,

I decided to put leather seats on my 2005 Mustang convertible but I can't decide on the color (or colors) for the trim and I thought it would be nice to as your opinions. Here are my options:

Lower left pix. The Black inset.

 

I like, in order: Lower right, middle left (then do silver doors?). Or have you thought about Black outside, with red in the middle??? Either way, I'd go with the full color in the middle section (that's what I did), 'cause the others are gonna look like a Shelby (unless that's the look you are going for??

Whatever you do, it's gonna turn out great!!! And be very different from most of the crowd. I went to my first show this weekend and I got ALOT of comps on my interior......

 

Do you guys think the silver one looks weird?

 

I like the lower left also. I assume the vert top is black..Black with red inserts would probably look good too.

Silver more custom, black more retro??? Try switch inside/outside colors......

 

Silver is tough, since you'll never really be able to match the silver leather seats with the silver IUP dash pieces (the seats will always look a bit "off" IMO). I like either of the bottom two red/black combos, although I still prefer the black seats with red inserts (since red as a highlight tends to "pop" more than black as a highlight).

 

Thanks for all your opinions! I decided to go with Red with black inserts. Anybody here had leather seats installed by Katzkin? If so, are they any good?

Mine are Katzkin, top notch stuff!!! No problems so far, and I've even got white.......post some pixs when your done, it's gonna look great!
