Well, chor said he might have some, but have not heard back from him yet. I got my tint done over a week ago, but have not rolled the windows down in fear of scratching, anyone have some? I called several tint shops around here, and no one had any.

I have some of the cheap stuff. It's just a sheet of felt (8x10?) with an adhesive backing. I picked it up at a craft store. I also found some at a fabric store. I'll send you a sheet, but it should be pretty easy to find.

I've had it on my car for a few weeks now and no scratches. The tint guy rubbed it REALLY hard on some tint he had on his front door and it didn't scratch.

 

Jewls, I just had mine tinted as well and waited the 72 hours before rolling down. I did not put any felt on my door, but I did have the tint place look at it and said it should be fine. That is about two weeks ago and no scratches yet. Good luck with yours.

I waited a little over a week before rolling mine down too. Its been installed over a month now and no scratches. I am beginning to think it might have something to do with the grade of film used.

 

I have a member who is going to send me some, he has it on order. Thanks everyone for your replies. No offense to anyone, but my windows are staying up until I get the felt. Better safe than sorry!
