Matte finish for dash chrome parts
Hey Northwest.. and more pics of your ride? I'm diggin it!
I know I'm in danger of spraying all the shiny parts with matte lacquer, but I'm counting on you guys to let me know when I'm going too far
That said, I am pretty pleased with how my latest spraying session came out. I did the A/C rings and the rings around the tach and speedo. They now match my shifter, the steering wheel spokes, and the trim around the radio. Also, the A/C rings just about perfectly match the short vent tubes that go into the dash. Same matte silver.
As for the FRPP chrome-look cam covers under the hood...no matte for them. They stay shiny.

I say do the speaker rings and the shifter trim ring. My .02
I got one more thing to show - I'll take some pics tomorrow
I've looked things over quite a few times. In my opinion, I'm there. I can't see anything that jars my eyeballs. So, I'm going to stick with things (for a while anyway). Thanks for the feedback.
Thank you Sir - I have another pic
In keeping with my theme of matte finish, I got a Ford Accessory fuel fill door. It has kind of a brushed metal finish and it's a bit shinier that what shows in the photo. I like it a lot better than the other aftermarket fuel fill doors.
