OEM alloy pedal covers?

Does anyone know where we can still get the OEM alloy pedal covers at a low price (07 GT, manual)?
I may need to get a new throttle position sensor/pedal assembly, so I was wondering if the GT500 (with the alloy throttle) would be a direct-fit? If so, does anyone have the part # and price?

Is there any risk of the accelerator cover coming off the stock pedal?

FYI: We have had these for about a year now. They look wonderful, but the rubber pads tear up on the clutch and brake pedals. The supplier was great and even replaced one of the pedals for us. But it too is now beginning to tear. Thinking of getting the type pedals that Mr. Taco Bill installed on his Big Red Stang? To get rid of this problem. Just thought you TMS guys might want to know about this on these pedals. CalStang

CDC sells them:

05stangKC can get you the entire gas pedal assembly from the GT500 with aluminum pedal installed. It will be a direct fit but cost more since you're buying the whole assembly. But if you need a new assembly anyway, then this is the way to go.

I've had them since late 06 and reccomend them for that clean OEM look.

I have had the pedals on my 06 for about three years now. The gas pedal is the stick on one and it hasn't moved since I put it on. It came with an adhesion promoterwipe. Just make sure you use it and everything will be fine.

That's what I used on mine! Much cheeper and it's the ones that are on the GT500. On the back of the rubber it has the ford logo on it. I have had no problems with any of them coming unstuck. I did have a little of the black rubber come off and the one pedal (brake) was replaced for free.

I love them and I also got the matching dead pedal from him also.

DO NOT get the saleen pedals. Bought those right away and they are complete shyte. Plastic and flimsy.

I just put on these GT500 ones. Cheapest I found on ebay was $70 so I jumped on it. Great so far. Almost all the pedals do the adhesion for the Accel pedal but the Saleens reinforced with some cheap bolts. These things look wonderful.

I know its not the same thing, but I have the Ultimates pedal and absolutely love them. I've had them on for two years and not an issue at all. They look great, but they are not stick on. you have to rip the old rubber off and drill out your pedals and screw these no ones to them.

I ordered the CDC manual pedal set from American Muscle $80 shipped:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/gt500-...nual-2005.html

I tried to get ahold of AAC4Parts but it took them about 3-4 days to respond. They're actually local to me, but CDC seems to have a 3 year warranty for defects.

Shame they are not for sale anymore on ebay.
Hard to beat the price 36/manual 32 auto.
Same as installed on the GT-500's
I've had mine on for around 2yrs with no issues.

That's not true. He usually puts them on there every week or so. Here's an auction that had zero bids for $41.00 that ended on Nov-12
