I think all of us eventually would like to switch out our stock Ford battery with an Optima. I think the only thing that holds us back is that price tag. Ah yes the price of being cool! I'd like to see some of the custom battery holders out there plus any info you would like to share about it. You know manufacturer, price, web link and why you choose a particular style.

I like this model below I saw it at the Fab Ford show at Knotts Berry Farm. Does anyone have any info on this? Looks like the battery was custom painted too. I like those ***** they hide the threaded terminals. I think this is a Marine style Optima Batttey.

The battery is the last thing in the engine bay I want to do "something" with. On hold waiting to see what Midwest does with their battery cover - it is suppose to be the next thing after their fuse box cover

That's slick really custom! I almost feel like placing the batter in the trunk using Steeda's kit but that would leave a big void in the engine compartment.
