Yep.. Mines seems to lose it's connection to the HU. Twice in 1 week already. I got my updated chip back in November and everything was working fine until last week.

I'm not sure what gives, but just wondering if I am the only one having trouble so far? Or is there another updated unit/chip that I missed out on?

I know PIE recommended removing then NEG side of the battery terminal for 10 mins and plug it back in. The tip works, but I'm still losing connection after a few days. So, instead of going through the whole battery deal, I just remove the fuse to the cigarette lighter for 10 mins and plug it back in. This works as well and the HU recognizes the adapter. For those of you who are having the same problem I am, just remove fuse #61 IF you used the lighter as your constant power source for the PIE unit.
