Finally got around to this Mod myself, I've always loved the look of the hurst shifter and ball. I used to have it on my 68 Camaro, back in the day.
Looks great on my White GT/CS Vert, really wakes up the interior.
The MGW Feel with the Hurst Look, can't beat it in my book.

thats also the upgraded trim package boot, with the bullitt shifter small hole in the top. looks like it fit the shaft pretty nice. we can also make that small hole top to go onto the standard boot trim ring i think the boot adapter looks really good too. really cool set up for sure. i had the hurst shifter in my 4 sp 67 fasatback with the t handle, dont see that much any more

I did that same Hurst/MGW conversion awhile ago, but I am thinking of doing it with one of these Hurst handles

Need a more cooler look!

Who can I PM to fabricate one of these for me? I saw this idea over on IMBOC via Terry (Tigerhonaker) and have a friend who is interested in one to work with her MGW. Thought it would be a good gift.

Is there a way the hurst handle can be mounted to the stock shifter? I love the way the hurst looks but I've driven an 07 GT with the hurst short shifter and I prefer the stock shifter for daily driving....

Your best bet is just pick up something like the Hurst Competition Plus shifter as the stock handle would be very difficult to change/modify.
