How hard is it to install gauges?

I have just purchased the Auto meter tri pod for my mustang. I was curious about two things, one what gauges should I get for my supercharged stang ( boost is obvious), and two how hard is it to DIY? Any tips and suggestions would be helpful.

You'll also want a wide-band A/F gauge and I like having fuel pressure too. As far as installing it I had the CDC dash pod which is similar to yours and the wires ran down the defrost vents at the windshield. Take out the instrument cluster and you can get access to the bottom of the vents to pull the wires through ...

Check out scan gauges like Aeroforce as they have a ton of flexibility and can monitor a wide range of OBD functions as well as several analog inputs. I have a dual set of these in my car and added the seperate MAP for monitoring boost. They also have a nice A/F add-on as well.

+1 on the aeroforce gauges I have a set too and get my boost and fuel pressure from them , but I have an innovate gauge for the A/F ratio which works out nicely with a 3 gauge pod ...
