unidentified attachment/plug during my Redline boot install

Ok I am just about finished installing my Redline E brake and shifter boots on my 05 GT. When I pulled the console apart to do the install, I came across the following light gray attachment/plug as seen in the pictures.

Does anyone know what this might be?

Correct, this plug is for automatics to connect lights and power to the ****er assembly.

Good spot if you need to pickup 12volts switched or lights 12volts signal

Thanks for verifying, I just wanted to make sure I did not miss anything when I was putting the console back
