yes they are the 6 piston 15" monsters. Tom, I actually like the black calipers personally. Everybody seems to have the red ones so i think i'll stay with the black

nope, no snakes. She's a custom Mustang GT.

To be honest, i am using the '13 gt500 along with the supersnake as my inspiration. Badging stays GT, as i don't want to be incorrectly badged and then badgered
I'm after a certain look and then perhaps...

next year...
maybe...

an aluminator and a whipple. it's a potential idea, but not a probability.

At the end of the day, i still smile and sneak a peak at her in the driveway so i'm doing something right. No regrets.

I know you would never. I'm with you though. A lot of fun to do the building piece by piece versus buying it "done."

The way I figure it, it's like Darren has been getting a new car every 3 months.

no Alex, more like 1800. the rotors are vented but not 2pc or drilled and slotted. those would have added up to alot more.

Yeah,...tell me about it.
Baer and Wilwood want crazy bucks. Brembo isn't cheap either though.

Newbie here: why does the box say "Ford" and the calipers (?) say "Brembo"?

He bought them from Ford Racing, hence the boxes.

These are the OEM equipment on the 13-14 GT500s. The 07-12 GT500 had 4-piston front Brembos standard, and the same brakes were optional on the 11-14 GTs and standard on Boss 302s. The 2015 GTs also have 4-piston front brakes standard, but they're not made by Brembo anymore. The 2015 GTs have the 6-piston GT500 brakes as an option.
