gonna tint rear window

well gonna tint rear window of my gt haven tinted in 8 years are there any suggestions about window tinting for the mustang to do it correctly

I would let a professional do it. The rear window is the hardest that's why I let someone else do it.

Make sure you get a tint that's compatible with the rear window defogger too.

a place quoted me 150 to do rear window so im on my own....

For that price I can see why you'd try to do it yourself. I got my whole car done for $80 and came out excellent. You should look around for someone else to do it, and get a better price.

I had my car tinted with SolarGuard 28. Computer cut and installed for $150. Well worth the effort! I got to watch them install the rear window (I low being a nosey person that ignores the "employee only" signs!). For the amount of work they had to do and the potention in damaging the rear glass while shrinking the film to fit the compound curved rear glass, there is NO WAY I would try to tint the rear window myself. Just not worth the risk.
