Finally got some tint on my 06 Roush Sport. Had them put 35% on the front (max legal), and 5% on rear.

First is a side shot, 2nd is a shot (inside looking out) showing diff between front (35%) and rear (5%). 3rd is a shot out the back window (5%). I can take more pics if someone wants something specific.

I did the moleskin myself. VERY easy to do if you follow Taco Bill's directions. If anyone in the DFW area needs help doing the moleskin, just let me know, will be glad to help.

Now I can focus on getting rid of the 4x4 setting...

 

have you tried looking out the back at night, i am thinking about going 20 or 15% all around but i want to be able to look out at night.

 

do you get moleskin from molasses???

 

RedDragon777: Not yet. I did look out a co-workers back glass that has the same tint, and it was dark but I could see.

I used to have 20% all around, with zero problems seeing out of the back window at night. Now, my front windows are at 4%, and at night its like looking into a puddle of oil The back window I kept at 20%, and I really like it because it prevents me from getting blinded in the rearview mirror from peoples headlights. I've never had to use the little lever on the bottom of the mirror.

I have no trouble seeing, but I work nights, so I have "vampire" vision.

 

Great looking car there! Got a question for you. Just moved to Tampa from MI in February and getting tint done this Friday. If I recall correctly, legal is 28% on the side windows and 15% on the back. How strict are the cops here as far as the tinting goes?

 

they are looking for the strip on the windshield. If it is too low they bust your *****. Don't worry about the 15 on the driver and passenger doors..been doing this for years w/ no problem..also the guy at Mild To Wild told me about the winshield strip also

 

Getting the car tinted tomorrow. Getting the windshield done too. I'm gonna stay legal though so the cops can't mess with me too much. Eibach Pro kit goes on Saturday, so I'll have some updated pictures early next week for anyone that cares.

 

Let me know how the windshield strip comes out.My tint guy didn't recommend it due to the little bubbles around the pony
