That looks great! Do me a favor and snap a pic with the different stuff out of the package. I'd like to see what the wiring looks like for that one. I like the look of that one a little better, and might switch them out depending upon what all's going to be involved. Thanks and good luck!

Edit: The reason I'm asking is because I do decide to swap them out, I'll probably offer mine up for sale or trade. The benefit to mine is that I can remove the red button part and replace it with either a blue or yellow button that came with mine... might be cool on a Sonic or Screaming car. I'll let you guys know.

I actually found a blue start button on another website, and I thought it would look hot for my car since mine is sonic blue. But I dunno if it would work on my car. Im not electronically inclined. Im having 05SatinGT help me install it since he already did it to his Mustang a few days ago and was there to help him a little bit and it looks great! But I'll be sure to snap some pics of the package and what comes in it and a few pics here and there of the install.

I'm interested in this mod as well, but I just wanted to be sure I understood some of its requirements. As I understand it, the key has to be IN the ignition for the "Engine Start" button to work. It will not work with the key in close proximity (similar to a Toyota Prius). Is this correct?

You are correct. The only difference is that you're adding a second mechanical way to make the electrical connection that's made by turning the key forward.
The key still needs to be in the ignition and turned forward. Once the button is installed you will have the option to continue turning the key forward to the start position and releasing it, or leaving the key in the 'run' position and pushing the button.

Yeah, it takes an extra half second to start the car, but it impresses everyone who sees it. Just for show.

S2000 button. Pretty nice little kit, looks complete. Good luck w/ your install. I've decided to keep mine b/c I like the way it glows red at night instead of amber, plus I can keep in on the dimmer switch. That Honda one does look great installed though. Have fun.

From watching another member and helping him install his, it seems pretty easy. If your electrically inclined, then this would be an easy job. Like myself, I'm going to have "05SatinGT" help me install mine as well as hot wire my radar detector for me, since I have no experience with electrical work except disconnecting batteries and unplugging connectors from different parts of the engine, LOL. And yes it comes with everything you need to get the job done.

I bought the start button on it's own and did the wiring myself. I didn't like the flush look, so I used some rubber gaskets from the hardware store to make it stick out a bit. Here is a video of me operating it. Dialup beware, it's 7.5mb: http://www.thestupidshow.com/100_0148.MOV
