I apologize if this has already been on the forum but my search found nothing. Has anyone replaced the emergency brake handle? Have any pictures?

 

Search for leather covers in this forum, many of us went that route. Looks good. Don't know of anyone that actually replaced the handle.

 

Soon (hopefully) MGW will have an e-brake replacement handle out. I can't wait!

Actually compared to the one in my 88 GT, I dig this e brake handle!

Does anyone have any idea how it installs, is it a slip on?

 

I emailed SS Inserts and asked how it was installed, their answer was-
It just slips over your exisiting one and allen screw holds it in place.

 

I'm waiting/hoping for a lower profile e brake handle. The stock one is extremely ugly.

 

I'm hoping for a nice one from MGW. That one from SS Inserts looks like a 3rd degee burn waiting to happen. Of course, I live in bistering hot Arizona so that is likely to happen with whatever I put on there.

 

i think boot is better mod at this moment.

Thanks! I need new pictures though. There was a wrinkle in the leather on the first day thats gone now.

 

I am thinking of getting the boots but I havent seen that pony on the center console. Where did you get it?

 

I sent it to Dan (adrenal) who had it done for me. He got his seats doen and I liked them. He used this place, so you can kind of see what they do and offer-
