Unfortunately mine is starting to rip at the front at the seam. Seems to be too much tension there and not enough material for full upward movement. I am not saying this to knock Jim's work however. Just some feedback to consider for the design. My boot just needed a little more material so it will not bind when pulling the brake up.

Try setting the leading edge back further - should give more slack.

If not, maybe I can do something if you send it back?

PM me with issues. No one PMs me, so I have no idea if there are difficulties. Mine is going on 3 years and is fine, so it may be it is set too far forward?

Cheers

You can`t just flip it end for end , spin it around I almost put mine in backward one day , why I thought of this

Mine is not in backwards. It's ripping at the front, not the back.

No slack left to move back. I am already seeing the edge of the velcro sewn into the front edge.

For those of you for whom I am making a boot or shifter, I started yesterday, and will continue every evening until done - by Saturday, I estimate. PMs will be sent out when done.

Also, I'm looking at doing something for the 2010 - 11.

One thing to think about. How loose is your E-Brake?

I finally remembered to snap a shot of my replacement boot. I like the material much better!
