Custom fit Sub
I have looked at the Scosche, MTX and JL Audio trunk mounted subs for an 07 Mustang. Pricing varies considerably but they all contain a 12" driver (some with several options and available empty to install your own)
For nearly double the price is the MTX or JL that much better than the Scosche (EFX) box?
We installed the Scosche in my wifes 05 GT and it has been fine. Had a JL Audio in my 98 Cobra and the woofer surround rotted away at about 6 years. In comparison I installed JBL subs in a 93 pickup and then transfered them to my 2002 which I still use daily so they are 13years old and just fine.
Don't want to start a war but would like to pick you guys brains for experience and ideas before I plunk down the cash. Not averse to spending more if I actually GET more out of it. Will need a amp too but that is a seperate issue.
