Convertible owners - rear quarter panel speakers

Convertible owners - rear quarter panel speakers
...are they like my '05 coupe in that they only play low decible sound? I have an '07 GT/CS vert that I just picked up and am planning on replacing all the factory speakers....has anyone replaced the rear quarter panel speakers and rewired for full sound range?
