Cheap bluetooth alternative?

I've been wanting Bluetooth in my mustang for awhile now but didn't feel like spending $500+ for a new head unit. I saw this product an I'm thinking this could be a good temporary alternative. I'm thinking just plug this into the auxiliary port, hide in the center console an I then have Bluetooth. Just have to charge it up every once an awhile but that's no big deal. Anyone have this or have a similar set up? What you guys think?

That is a good point. But since I would start using my phone for music, my phone would be somewhere close to me so I'm thinking it would alright. Plus even if it is in my pocket, it'll still ring an I take it out an put it in the cup holders. I'd have to try an see how well it works when not being against my face.

No need to spend $500..... I just put one of these in my jeep because I was so used to having sync. It streams BT media as well as make calls. Crutchfield is the best deal @ $120 and they include the wire harness and dash kit for free. The one a step up @ $150 also has iPod controls. I have no complaints with mine so far.

Yeah one of those would work. I guess if I was going to replace the current stock unit, I would either put in a LCD screen head unit or at least a double din head unit. I think that would look better for all the space that is there.
