So I am trying to get the door panel off but I can't seem to get it. I took off the mirror controls, removed all the screws, removed all the screws for the 8" woofer but I still can't budge the door. And I can't seem to get the woofer out either. Am I missing something? Usually there are just some clips after the screws are out and the door just pops off. Can anyone provide some insight?

Thanks

Also, woofer bolts to door panel/woofer enclosure assy-not to door sheet metal. Woofer will come off with door trim.

Ti - thanks - I was just about to ask that question!! You must have the '05 shop manual in PDF format? I'd like to purchase a copy of that if possible?

OK, there are the three pdfs that detail head unit removal. This one details console finish and console removal- Note it is not required to remove entire console to remove center stack finish panel-only the top finish panel needs removal.

Part two-center finish removal-Note: Once the center stack side trim "wings" are removed-there are openings in the sides of the dash metal frame, wiring harness removal for the climate controls and lower function panel are easily accessed here. Also-the electrical connector for the lower function panel has a pivoting latch pry it lightly with a small screwdriver to release the connector.

Tiberius,

Thank you!! I'm planning to replace my stock cd/radio with a Shaker 500 and these PDFs give me the DIY info I need.

ChrisM... do you need the Shaker? I'm through with mine now that the dealer replaced it with the series B and almost all of my McIntosh components have arrived.

RRRoamer... how goes it?
