Today I am new to this forum!

I love my new mustang, but the headrest is very uncomfortable. How can I adjust it? Or can it be replaced? Does any one know of a custom shop that makes a replacement headrest that fits the standard seat?

I think the only way to adjust it is upwards.

I don't get why they make it slope inward/forward so much. I dont know if that makes it work better for tall folks, but I'm just 5'6".

I usually (in last car) like to have my seat bolt-upright......I like the back support. But with the headrest the way it isin my stang, then upright seat basically wants to push my chin into my chest.

Is there some sort of trick to getting the seating comfortable?

im 6'3, and have my seat leaned kinda back, my head rarely hits the headrest and when it does it only hits the top section. I dont like leaning against headrests anyways.

I don't know if they are different seats or not but, the 2005 Roush Mustang's have different headrests from what I’ve seen. I’m betting that those are aftermarket seats though.

Guess you could take them all the way off, and just have old style "bucket" seats...allthough in an accident , this may not be a wise choice ( if you like having your head attached to your body that is)..........
