It will accomodate 6.5" speakers. I had Boston Pro60s up front, then switched to Boston Z6s.

So you can fit a 6.5" component seperate with 1 inch tweeters in the doors? Do you need a bracket?

Yeah, it can be a tight squeeze, just make sure the tweet shows through the grill in the door. It's OK to cover part of the mid but the tweet has to be through the holes. I believe the Bostons come with brackets.

If you get a speaker like the Pro60s or 50s, mounting them coaxially is best, just be careful they don't stick out too far or the door panel won't go back on.

Thanks. I had the door panels off this weekend and a lot more of the speaker is covered than I expected.
