I got my wheel and interface put in, but when I try to program the buttons, nothing happens. I programmed the interface to #9 and it flashed 9 times, but after that, nothing.

What was wrong with it? What did you have to do?

The stock one is just really, really tight, so it's a ***** to get off and then the aftermarket one is just hard to put on. I just really had to work with it. I used a bone folder (leather working tool) to work around the airbag and get it stuffed back in there. It wasn't "hard" per se, just time consuming.

First you drill out the rivets (three of them). Next you just have to work it off the airbag. It's just a hassle to get off. You'll need some kind of plastic tool like a wedge or something to work in there and work the rubber off the tabs at the back and then to help get it off the airbag. Then you just have to work the new one on. Once it's over the airbag, you have to press one side of the airbag plate down into the cover so that the long tab at the bottom can go in the slot on the cover. Then you press the other side down, pressing on the edge pressing down and towards the center to get the other side in. It's not complicated. It just takes patience. Once that's done, just use some pop rivets to resecure it and you're good to go. It's difficult getting it back in because the wiring for the new wheel is different and it gets in the way. I haven't wired mine up yet. I'm going to do it when I get my radio module to allow the wheel controls to work.

What color Alcantara is the wheel? Black or Grey?

What color is the stitching?

Thanks!

Black and the stitching is just like a dull white.

Got the wheel installed and the cruise is working great (2008) but now I am trying to get the audio controls working. I have the wpt 440's and an axxess and a PAC interface. Not having any luck, can anyone help? I have an AVIC X930BT head unit.

Haven't wired it yet. trying to find details on what wires to connect where. I got an email from tech support at Axxes and he said that the green wire needs to be grounded, and the yellow wire to the green/white in the ASWC. I will be trying that tomorrow.

Did you use any resistors? What wire are you using on the PWI?
