So I'm getting new tints in a couple of days and I wanted to know what you guys recommend what percentage to get. I live in Texas so the darkest I can go is 25%

I would go as dark as legal. Mine are 25% front sides and 35% on rear and quarter windows, which is what is legal in my state. 25% is not really so dark that it causes trouble at night. I have had every vehicle I have owned since 1990 tinted this way. Never experienced any problem, and they looked nice too.

5% or limo. State law on that is hardly enforced.

If you get into a situation with a officer asking just say you bought the car like that and had no idea.

Lived in colorado, now I've been in texas for the past year and a half and I've never been pulled over for it( yet when I had my truck I was pulled over 3+ times lol)

 

Then again I drive with my windows Down 95% of the time. Still. Darker tint makes the cars appearance 10x better than see thru tint.

Worth it in my book.

 

I think ima go with the front two 25% and the back two also 25% and the rear 30% or 35%

 

Just make sure you don't want darker before its too late.

Eh its ok. Alot of improvement is needed but its slowly on the rise with the fast growing population
