Is that heel guard drilled into just the front mat or all the way through?

Just the mat. It came with 4 threaded retainers that secure it on the other side of the mat. I wouldn't drill it through the floor.

Paul... Great find! I really like those... Best ones I've seen yet... Looks like you just cost me some money... Did you purchase the heel guard in the matching matte finish or is it the brushed finish? I can't really tell from your picture... By the way, I see you're from MA... Where abouts? I'm originally from Peabody... I sure don't miss the snow and cold... I washed and waxed my car yesterday, IN SHORTS!

Thanks, the Heel Guard is in the brushed finish. I figured that would fit in best with IUP.

There's a coupon code Here for a $20 discount on the heel guard when purchased w/ pedals

I'm currently in Newton, where it's currently a balmy 13 degrees, with wind chill dropping it to -2 degrees.

I think maybe I hate you a little

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I just wanted to show off my new pedals!

And, also to remind you all that the Group Buy is still in effect until May 8.

Do you need to drill new holes with that kit? Or does it use the stock ones?

Check out AutoVation's installation instructions.

It'll give you a good idea what's involved.

The short answer is there are no stock holes, so yeah, you do need to drill a few. It's worth it tho'
