Anyone put in a rearview mirror/camera?
I was hoping that there was a specific wire I should take power from.
I ended up taking it from the same place I took power from for ambient lighting.
It works great. I just now need to find a spot to put the camera.

Would the camera work if it was inside the rear windshield at the top? I think the angle of the glass is too steep there and would distort the picture. Not sure how the field of view would be, either. ??
Not a bad idea, but I have a convertible. Besides, if it is mounted there, then the camera wouldn't be able to see any more than I could from the mirror, I would think.
I'm pretty sure I'll put it in the keyhole. I am looking to see if I could put it in the middle of the 3rd brake light. Drill a hole and mount it there?

I didn't opted for the keyhole camera cause I find it's angled too high and was not very helpful to backup near objects as you can't see low enough.
I went with the boyo license plate VTL 425, it has adjustable camera angle

How does it work at night? I had read that the license plate light washes everything out. Not the case?
My camera is a fish eye, so I get a pretty good view. I did angle it slightly down, though.
Cheers
