Thought I'd post an FYI...I bought a Kenwood radio, mounting kit an wiring kit n installed it. It's not a hard process but I found out though the cables are present you don't use them all.
2006 Mustang GT 5speed, shaker 500 removed
Did not use the following:
Orange dimmer
Pink phone
Power antenna
Brown mute

blue p cont for small contector n 2 blue/white wires to the amp w RCA cables

Took 2 days to figure out the brown mute wires was causing the radio to refresh every time I shifted using either radio or cd

Just wanted to post to save someone the trouble
