That wire plug? I have absolutely NO idea! I assume that it gets connected to an automatic transmission shifter, but since I don't have one I never cared. It was a random plug that has been there all along and never plugged in to anything. Sorry I can't be of more help, I wonder if any AT owners can chime in.

POSTSCRIPT TO MY THREAD:
Installing Kenwood DNR876S
Kenwood DNR876S
I have now moved on from the Rosen unit - I now have a Kenwood DNR876S from Crutchfield. While it's not as "OEM" looking as the Rosen unit was I think the interface is light years better than Rosen.
It's been real! I hope my installation guide helped everyone. It was a fun ride!

Yet another setback. Tried to hook up the AM/FM antenna to the Raxiom NAV unit, and it doesn't fit! The stock Motorola style antenna plug is different from what the Raxiom has. Check out the picture below.
So now what? Is there a newer, funky design that I'm not aware of for an AM/FM radio? And also, where is the port for the Sirius/XM radio antenna? Is this the Sirius XM antenna, and if so, where is the AM/FM one? I am thoroughly confused and once again cursing the lack of documentation that came with this unit.
Ideas, anyone? I'm going to run to Best Buy tomorrow and see if there is some sort of adapter.

Consider searching the sub-forums by selecting the search function menu located above.. When the search box window displays, type in 2005-2009 Mustang Raxiom GPS navigation w/back up camera..
This should provide a listing of threads which have been previously submitted that address the Raxiom NAV units.. Meanwhile, hope you'll find the search function menu as useful.

In that case, unless you can somehow locate another vendor who has an adaptor which has the compatible end fittings? you may have to end up doing some fabrications on your own, or look into finding someone who has expertise that can do the fabrication work for you on your behalf..

Then I would recommend submitting a PM to mrkabc, knowing he was the last person who posted on this thread.. In my honest opinion, you more than likely will receive a much faster response by reaching out to him via PM
