120MPH Speedo

Can folks pls confirm to me the Mustang has a 120 MPH speedo, if so I'm surpised since car can do 140-150 MPH stock. My old 66 GT had a 140 MPH Speedo, does it make sense to have a 120 Speedo in the new Mustang? Guess I'll live with it in my GT Covertible I have on order.

I may be wrong here but I believe the V-6 model is the only one with a 120mph speedo. I can tell you that my V-6 does have a 120mph speedo. I'm pretty sure, however, that the GT speedo goes to 140mph.

That's right 120 for the V6 and 140 for the GT.

That's cool, GT has 140 MPH Speedo. I'll have my GT Convertible delivered to Germany where I'm stationed and while I know the convertible isn't as fast as the coupe I'll still enjoy it on the autobahn. Thanks for the quick replies.
