Zaino...Taking it off.

Alright so I have approx. 10 coats of Zaino on my car...and the water just beads off when I wash it.

Tomorrow I plan on taking all of the Zaino back off, and restarting using their new paint stuff.

How do I get the Zaino off that is on the car now? Detergent wash?

Thanks, Scott.

Good ol' Dawn dishwashing liquid soap. Use 1 to 2 oz per gallon of warm water.

Z-PC is an abrasive so it would just break the other coats down, but I would just rather get the older Zaino off before I start with the Z-PC.

Ohh, and thanks adrenaline...just wanted to make sure.

Per Sal Zaino when I asked him this same question.

There are many commercial body shop products that are specifically
designed to remove polish/wax to prep a surface prior to painting.
Isopropyl Alcohol will also remove Zaino.

Kind of harsh, but when I had my vinyl dilema, I used Naptha on just the rocker panels. That might be too much for the entire car. But, my vinyl stuck like a charm!!

The iso alcohol isn't too harsh. Only the areas of where the vinyl's going will be wiped down with the iso alcohol..
