No. Window tint is made for the inside of windows, not out exposed to the elements. You'll want to buy the film for the corners that is thicker and abraision/weather resistant.

Actually window tint works fine on the corners....we've done it and had it on a couple cars for over a year. Just use a quality window tint and not the cheap stuff.

+1 here I used window tint film on my corners it works fine and is cheap too. I've had mine on for about 8 months and no problems so far. If it peels I will just redo it.

Don't buy your tint at walmart...if you are having your windows done then they probably use something like Lumar or Sunguard both of which are good tint...just ask them for some extra and they should give it to you. The proper way to tint your signal lights is to remove them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but using window tint would not give optimum results or create overheat inside the reflector as th film is designed to reflect hat from the sticky side of the film and if apply outside if will keep heat inside and alo the tint won't be as dark !

It's like lookig through your tinted windows from inside and outside there's a difference in tint

There should be a kind of reflective material in the film that enhance darkness no ?

That's why I always thought that the films to use on lights were made with the adhesive apply to the other side of the tinting film ?

That could also explain why some kit would reduce more than others the efficiency of your lights ?

I think your reading too much into it.

The point to tint the marker is because it is so darn bright to begin with and just jumps out at you. All tinting does is tone it down a bit. Again...over a year on a couple of cars around here and no problems of any kind. At least you can remove the tint...a lot of people now are painting them (1 part black to 4 parts clearcoat) and that can never be removed.

these are the guys i used to tint my headlights and foglights. i dont think they just sell the side marker kit by itself though. it is bundled with the headlight covers. i ended up not using my side marker tint. got it lying around.

you could buy some uncut material and just cut to size. pretty cheap.

this is heavy duty vinyl and would protect the marker from rocks and fading. might as well use the good stuff. it is pretty cheap. with this film, it is stuck really good but if you don't like it, it peels off pretty easily without damaging anything.

Well I emailed the guy from bluebatmobile and he replied quickly, so hes still in business. 30 bucks for all 4 lenses is pretty cheap imo.

All www.Bluebatmobile.net Overlays are made from a 7 Year rated High Performance Premium Vinyl, very durable! All Overlays mount to the outside surface, and priced for the pair or complete kit!. Application is Peel and Stick with the aid of soap and water, and a hair dryer for some applications. Overlays can be removed if desired with no or minimal residue left behind by applying heat with a hairdryer or heat gun and slowly peel off. For my Smoke tints I offer a 6/10 which equals 20% tint, and a lighter 3/10 which equals 60% tint. All kits come with application instructions. Also, some kits have a double or dual layer option. This is an extra layer in black so light doesnt pass through the overlay. Check your local laws before ordering smoke overlays.

Make check or money order payable to:

Andrew Mercado

direct paypal funds ok, no paypal through credit/debit please: bluebatmobile@san.rr.com

Prices are listed above each image in my Gallery. Please include $2.00 flat rate for shipping and handling. Roof Overlays add $5 for shipping in the U.S. and Canada. Other countires, please inquire about shipping charges. Personal checks will need to clear prior to shipping. State which kits and finish with your order! Please Submit a copy of this email with your name, address and phone number should I have a question regarding your order. Also include year, make and model of your vehicle. Any, I think 30$ is just for the Headlights, if you read the whole thing markers are an additional 15$.

I don't see any fog lights tint kit. To me they all have to be done otherwise the visual is not balanced.

I wonder how much he would charge for a complete kit (headlights, folights, front and rear markers, tail lights and third brake light)?

Saw this guy on eBay and seems not to expensive..

Anyone has bought from him ?
